Henry Mkandawire, born on September 8, 1990, in Lusaka, Zambia, discovered his innate talent for art at an early age. In 2007, Henry achieved a significant milestone by winning a prestigious art competition in Lusaka. This accomplishment fueled his ambition to pursue art professionally. Eager to refine his craft, he sought mentorship from seasoned artists from Zambia, DR Congo, and Zimbabwe, learning diverse techniques that enriched his artistic repertoire.

Henry's professional career commenced in 2010 when he worked as a sign writer for Hotel InterContinental, where he honed his skills in visual communication and artistic expression. Since 2013, he has dedicated himself to creating and selling a wide range of artworks, showcasing his talent and unique perspective.
